Born in 1884 in Chapmore End, Hertford son of Charles and Minnie Sharp and living in High Road Cottages, Stapleford, Hertfordshire.
Wartime Service
Enlisted at Hertford formerly 6889 16th Bedford Regiment, was already serving in 1901 and was a cook at Aldershot Barracks in 1911.
He was killed in action.
