Born on 18 Mar 1880 in Winchester, Hampshire son of Major Charles Davis Sherston, J.P., of Evercreech, Somerset. Educated at Haileybury College 1894-98. Gazetted 2nd Lieutenant on 7 May 1902 and Lieutenant 26 Jun 1906. Served in South Nigeria 1909-10. He married Dorothy Eden Parke of Otley Hall, Ipswich, Suffolk on 2 Sep 1911 in Marylebone, London.

Wartime Service

Entered France in Sep 1914 and was killed in action.
