Born in 1899 in Ware, Hertfordshire son of George William and Happy Chapman and was living in 7 the Bourne, Ware in 1901 and 1911.
Wartime Service
Enlisted at Bedford formerly 38450, Rifle Brigade and was killed in action in Belgium. Initially buried in La Basse German Cemetery, Warneton and then reburied in the Strand Cemetery.
