Born in Apr 1866 in West Cowes, Isle of Wight son of Rev Edgar and Isabella (Davies) Silver and baptised in Cowes on 27 May 1866. Educated at Haileybury College 1879–81. Lieutenant on 25 Aug 1886, Captain 12 Aug 1893. Served in South Africa in 1899. He married Bessie Frances Silver on 1 Jun 1899 in Chislehurst, Kent and they lived in the Mall, Armagh, Ireland in 1901.

Wartime Service

Died on Service in Armagh, Ireland.
