Born on 9 Jun 1890 in Kenilworth, Warwickshire son of George Henry and Anne Eliza Church and baptised in Kenilworth on 10 Jul 1890. Educated at Haileybury College 1905-07. He married Beatrice Farrar Robson on 4 Sep 1914 in St Philip’s Cathedral, Birmingham. He was an artist.
