Born in 1891 in Sandon, Hertfordshire and was baptised on 13 Dec 1891 in Sandon son of Henry and Eliza Clark and living in Plumes Yard, Burford Street, Hoddesdon in 1901 and 1911. He was a sawyer in a pulley factory.

Wartime Service

Enlisted at Hoddesdon and was killed in action at the Battle of Festubert..
