Born in 1889 in Ware, Hertfordshire son of Samuel and Katherine Skipp and was living at 61 New Road, Ware in 1911. He was a tailor.

Wartime Service

Enlisted at Hertford formerly 5703, Hertfordshire Regiment and was killed in action on the Somme.

Additional Information

Brother of Private Harry Skipp and of Private Robert Skipp and of Private Thomas Walter Skipp who all fought, were all wounded but all survived WW1.
