Born on 22 Nov 1895 in Deptford, London son of Alexander John and Adelaide (Avery) Slatter of 3 Cliff Terrace, St. John's, Deptford, London.


Educated at the Royal Masonic School 1906-10, he joined a shipping agency.

Wartime Service

Enlisted in Oct 1915 in Putney formerly 3853, Private, 3rd C. of L. Yeomen, he died of pneumonia in hospital at Frevent.
