Born in 1890 in Ware, Hertfordshire son of John and Elizabeth Clibbon and was living in High Oak Road, Ware in 1901 and at 4 Redan Road, Ware in 1911 working for an oil dealer.

Wartime Service

Enlisted at Hertford formerly 4392, Hertfordshire Regiment, entered France on 17 Aug 1915 and was killed by a bomb on the Somme.

Additional Information

Brother of Private Herbert George Clibbon who was killed in action on 31 Jul 1917 and is also commemorated on these memorials.
