Pre War

Born in 1884 in Ware, Hertfordshire son of James and Eliza (Howe) Clibbon but moved to Luton when he was about 3 and was then living in Stanmore, Middlesex in 1901 working as a brewery labourer. He married Amy Lowe on 29 Sep 1908 in Bushey and had one daughter. They were still living in Stanmore in 1911 and he was still working in the brewery. Later they lived at 2 Council Cottages, Ickford, Thame, Oxon. and later still in Hendon, Middlesex.

Wartime Service

Enlisted at Mill Hill and died of wounds in Jerusalem.

Additional Information

Brother of Sergeant Joseph Clibbon who died of wounds on 20 Feb 1915.
