Born on 22 Jan 1887 in Athlone, Co. Westmeath, Ireland son of William and Maud (Lushington) Colomb, of Rossleigh, Greystones, Co. Wicklow, Ireland.


Educated at Haileybury College 1901-04. He married Annie Maud Besant in Kenilworth, Warwickshire on 14 Dec 1913.

Wartime Service

He entered France on 6 Jan 1915. Died in Cambridge Military Hospital, Aldershot of shrapnel wounds received at Ypres, Belgium.

Additional Information

Brother of Lieutenant George Lushington Colomb who was killed in action on 22 Nov 1916 and who is also commemorated on these memorials.
