Son of Martha Ann Coxall, of Godfrey's Terrace, London Rd., Royston, Herts, and the late Alfred Coxall.

Wartime Service

He enlisted in the army in August 1914 and was posted to France in August 1915. He is known to have been a Cook from the officer’s mess. He was killed in action during the Battle of the Somme.

Additional Information

His brother, Robert Coxall, died on 14 May 1918, after being gassed whilst serving with the Hertfordshire Regiment.
