Born on 5 Jan 1895 and baptised on 17 Feb 1895 in Camden Town, London (SDITGW says Lambeth) son of James Cox and Marion Ann Jackson (Ginger) Squibb. He married Elizabeth Annie Scott on 1 Nov 1911 in Chorleywood (was 16 but claimed to be 21) and lived in Chorleywood. He worked as a boy clerk for the Civil Service in the Tax Office.

Wartime Service

Enlisted at Watford formerly 28133, Essex Regiment and was killed in action.
