Pre War

Born on 11 Feb 1876 and christened on 16 Mar 1876 in 15 Warwick Square, London son of Admiral the Hon. Arman and Geraldine (King-King) Lowry-Corry. Educated at Haileybury College 1891-93. He married Geraldine Hartcup on 11 Feb 1906 and lived in 2 Marine Parade, Towyn, Montgomeryshire. He had one son Major Galbraith Armar, 7th Earl Belmore of Castle Coole, Co Fermanagh and one daughter.

Wartime Service

Commissioned 2nd Lieutenant West Kent Regiment on 4 Dec 1901 and was appointed Captain R.A.O.C. on 19 Jan 1904 and Major in 1918. He died in Egypt.
