Born on 15 Nov 1884 in Waltham Abbey, Essex son of Albert and Ada (Baltrop) Chapman was living in 17 Town Mead Road, Waltham Holy Cross in 1901, Glenrosa, Honey Lane, Waltham Abbey in 1911 and later lived in Shamrock Villa, 57 Stanstead Road, Hoddesdon. He was an accountant.

Wartime Service

Enlisted on 4 Sep 1916. Served in President II (Cranwell), shore based facility in London. He was invalided out on 30 May 1917 to Royal Naval Hospital, Chatham and died in St Thomas’s Hospital, London.
