Born on 27 Aug 1868 and baptised on 1 Nov 1868 in Agra, Bengal, India son of the Ven. Archdeacon Walter Harry and Sophie Tribe. Educated at the United Services College 1885-86. Commissioned 2nd Lieutenant Indian Army on 1 Sep 1887, Major on 1 Sep 1905 and served on the North-West Frontier in 1894-95 and in China in 1900. Appointed Lieutenant Colonel Indian Army in 1912. He married Alice Seaton Massy from Devonshire on 17 Nov 1903 in Paddington, London and the lived at 29 Norham Road, Oxford.

Wartime Service

He was killed in action in Mesopotamia.

Additional Information

United Services College, Westward Ho, Devon amalgamated with Imperial Service College in Windsor in 1912 and then moved to Haileybury College, Hertford Heath in 1942.
