Born on 25 Mar 1896 in Edinburgh son of Maj. Archibald Alexander Gordon C.B.E., M.V.O. and Lizzie Maude (Smith) Gordon of Monksbarn, Maugersbury, Stow-on-the-Wold, Gloucestershire. Educated at Haileybury College 1909-13. He lived in 1 Coates Gardens, Edinburgh.

Wartime Service

Entered France on 10 May 1915. Died in Chelsea, London of illness contracted on active service.

Additional Information

Brother of Lieutenant William Hyde Eagleson Gordon who was killed in action on 30 Sep 1915 and is also commemorated on these memorials.
