Born 23 Feb 1901 in 204 Farrant Avenue, Wood Green, London and baptised on 3 May 1901 in St Marks, Noel Park son of Charles and Lucy Annie Keeble and was living in New River Engine House, Essex Road, Hoddesdon in 1911.

Wartime Service

H.M.S. "Powerful" was a 14,000-ton armoured cruiser launched in July 1895. By the outbreak of war "Powerful" was old and had had most of its armament removed making it a troop transport and accommodation ship. He died from disease in East Stonehouse, Devon.
