Born on 11 Jun 1890 in Brighton, Sussex son of William Ward Frank and Sarah Lydia Hollands. Educated at the Royal Masonic School 1900-06 and then emigrated to Australia. He was engaged to be married to Miss M H Prince in Victoria, Australia.

Wartime Service

Enlisted on 5 Jan 1915 at Broadmeadows, Victoria, Australia and embarked at Melbourne on 2 Feb 1915 on the H.M.A.T Clan MacGillivray. He was reported missing in action on 25 Apr 1915 at Gallipoli and his body was later discovered, killed in action.
