Born on 29 Sep 1883 in Weston-Super-Mare, Somerset son of William Mogg and Edith Percival Clifton. Educated at Haileybury 1896-98. He married Gladys Amy Hughes in Eastry, Kent in 1911.

Wartime Service

Lieutenant on HMS Sappho, promoted to Commander HMS Milne, an M-Class Destroyer in the 10th Destroyer Flotilla based in Harwich from 13 Nov 1914. Died in Royal Naval Hospital, Shotley, Suffolk.
