Son of George Frederick and Agnes Annie Silvester, of 95, Glencoe Rd., Bushey, Herts. Born at Herne Hill, London. Resident Herne Hill, enlisted in Camberwell.


Frederick was the fifth in a family of seven children, one of whom died in childhood.

Wartime Service

Frederick enlisted with the London Regiment and served as Lance Corporal 2834 in France and Flanders. He was killed in action on 23 May 1916.

After his death he was recorded as the son of George Frederick and Agnes Annie Silvester, of 95, Glencoe Rd., Bushey, Herts. born at Herne Hill, London.
