Born on 15 Jul 1872 son of Corbet John and Honora Maria (Sutherland) Coventry.


Educated at Haileybury College 1886-88. He later lived in Bexhill on Sea, Sussex. Served in the South African War 1900-01.

Wartime Service

Entered WW1 in the Eastern Mediterranean on 26 Apr 1915. Died - drowned in Mediterranean when the ”Leasowe Castle” was torpedoed by UB 51 off Alexandria on the way to Marseilles.
