Born on 9 Apr 1890 in Dalhousie, Bengal, India son of Col. Frank Montagu Rundall, CB, DSO, OBE, former OC 4th Gurkha Rifles and Mrs. Emily Rosa Rundall, of 11, Prior's Terrace, Tynemouth, Northumberland and baptised on 8 Jun 1890.


He later lived in 25 Porchester Square, London. Author of "The Ibex of Sha-Ping".

Wartime Service

First commissioned on 8 Sep 1909 and promoted to Lieutenant on 8 Dec 1911.


Died at Festubert, France.

Additional Information

Brother of Capt Arthur Montagu RUNDALL who was killed the next day also near Festubert and is listed on this same memorial.
