Born in 1897 and living as a boarder, possibly fostered, aged 4 in the Green, Sarratt, Hertfordshire with a May Leech and one other young child in the Franklin family and later as a boarder at 124 Judge Street, Watford in 1911 apprenticed to a dentist.

Wartime Service

Enlisted at London formerly 3292, 2nd Life Guards, entered France on 13 Aug 1915 and was killed in action.
