Born on 27 Jan 1883 in Motcombe House, Shaftesbury, Dorset son of Lord Richard de Aquila Grosvenor, Baron Stalbridge and Eleanor Frances Beatrice Hamilton (Stubber), Lady Stalbridge. Educated at Haileybury College 1895-99 and the Royal Military Academy, Woolwich. He lived at 105 Piccadilly, London.

Wartime Service

Entered France on 6 Nov 1914. He was killed in the last days of the Battle of Loos.
