Born in 1892 in West Ham, Essex son of Richard and Elizabeth Jane (Heath) Plant and was living in 188 Uphall Road, Ilford in 1911 as a railway porter and later in 51 Amwell Street, Hoddesdon. He married Elizabeth Ella M Woollcott in 1917 in West Ham.

Wartime Service

Enlisted at Warley, Essex, entered France on 22 Jul 1915 and was killed in action.
