Born on 25 Oct 1872 and baptised on 1 Mar 1874 in Allyghur, Bengal, India son of Maj. Gen. J. G. and Jane G. Hall. Educated at the United Services College 1883-84 and Bedford Grammar School. Commissioned on 3 Sep 1892, served on the North-West Frontier 1897-98 and in China in 1900. Promoted to Major on 3 Sep 1910.

Wartime Service

Invalided and then died of enteritis at Bannu, India.

Additional Information

United Services College, Westward Ho, Devon amalgamated with Imperial Service College in Windsor in 1912 and then moved to Haileybury College, Hertford Heath in 1942.
