Born on 22 Sep 1878 at Murree, India son of Maj. Gen. L F Tucker. Educated at the United Service College 1885-94 and the Royal Military College, Sandhurst. Commissioned 2nd Lieutenant Indian Army on 4 Aug 1897 and served on the North-West Frontier. Promoted to Captain on 4 Aug 1906 and joined the Political Department of the Indian Government while still attached to the army.

Wartime Service

He died at Tank, North-West Province, India of typhoid.

Additional Information

United Services College, Westward Ho, Devon amalgamated with Imperial Service College in Windsor in 1912 and then moved to Haileybury College, Hertford Heath in 1942.
