Born in 1891 in Ware, Hertfordshire son of Walter James and Ellen (Pickett) Roberson of 3 Bowling Road, Ware and later of 73 Star Street, Ware and was living in 1 Park Cottages, Ware in 1901.

Wartime Service

Enlisted at Stratford, London, entered France on 13 Aug 1914 and was killed in action during the retreat to the Marne.

Additional Information

In SDITGW as Robertson. Brother of Corporal Henry Roberson who was wounded in 1915 in France, transferred to the Army Service Corps. but survived WW1.
