Edwyn Randolph was born on 27 Sep 1892 in Steyning, Hove to Rev. Alfred George Lovelace Bowling and Rose Caroline (nee Randolph).


By 1901 the family were living in Rectory House, Wimblington, Cambs. On the 1911 Census the Family were living at Moreton End House although Edwyn was also a boarder in Kensington with His occupation as a solicitor’s articled clerk.

Wartime Service

Edwyn was commissioned as 2nd Lieutenant on 9 Jul 1915 in Queen’s Own Royal West Kent Regiment.


He went to France on 12 Mar 1916.  He was killed in action on 4 Jun 1916.
