Biography

Arthur Bennett was recorded in the Abbots Langley Parish Magazine Roll of Honour from May 1915, where he was identified serving with the Army Service Corps (ASC). He was continually recorded with the same unit until in the final Roll of Honour list, in December 1918 his unit was noted as the Mounted Military Police (MMP). It was likely that he transferred to the MMP sometime during 1918.

Arthur’s Service Record has not survived, and he was not located in the Census Records, so there is very little detail known about this man.

Arthur Bennett survived the War.
