Born Rickmansworth about 1898, baptised 20th February 1898 at Holy Trinity Church, Northwood. Father is a dairyman at Batchworth Heath.

In the 1911 census the family are living at Batchworth Heath, Rickmansworth. Father Walter Parker is 38, a jobbing gardener, born Harpenden. Mother Margaret is 40 and born Finchingfield. Arthur is aged 13, Minnie Lavinia is 10 and Cecil Alexander is 3. All the children were born in Rickmansworth.

Recorded as enlisting in Harrow, Middlesex.

Wartime Service

Formerly 1176, 9th Middlesex Regiment and died of wounds probably in a Casualty Clearing Station in Aubigny.
