Biography

Arthur Cox was listed in the Absent Voter Records for Abbots Langley in Autumn 1918 and Spring 1919. He was initially identified from the Absent Voter Records and was not recorded elsewhere in the Abbots Langley Parish records. In the Absent Voter Records Arthur was listed serving with the Royal Engineers, and his address was given at Trowley Bottom, Abbots Langley.

Arthur’s Medal Roll noted that he went to France on 25th August 1915, and after serving throughout the rest of the War was demobilised on10th April 1919. No further information has been identified for this man.

Arthur Cox survived the War.
