Biography

George Woolcott was recorded in the Abbots Langley Parish Magazine Roll of Honour in March 1915, serving with the Motor Transport Section of the Army Service Corps (MTASC).
He was recorded serving with this unit through to the end of the War, and was listed in the Absent Voter records for Autumn 1918 and Spring 1919. In the Absent Voter Records George was listed serving with the 322nd Motor Company, and gave his address at 37 Breakspear Road, Abbots Langley.

His Medal Roll Card noted that an application for his emblems and medals had been made from 37 Breakspeare (sic) Road, Abbots Langley, and that George was demobilised on 21st July 1920.

George Woolcott survived the War.
