Biography

John Yendle was first recorded in the Abbots Langley Parish Magazine Roll of Honour in December 1915, serving with the Royal Army Medical Corps (RAMC). He was listed in the following month’s Roll of Honour, but was not recorded from February 1916, through to March 1918, when he was once again listed, but was then shown serving with the Royal Field Artillery. John continued to be listed with the RFA through to the end of the War.

It is presumed that he survived the War, however no other information linking him to Abbots Langley has been identified.
