Biography

George Conian was first listed in the Abbots Langley Parish Magazine Roll of Honour in December 1914, serving with the 15th Battalion, London Regiment. This battalion was also known as the Civil Service Rifles, and the outbreak of the War in the summer of 1914, it mobilised in the Bedmond area, and several local men enlisted with the unit before it moved on to France.

No further details can be found regarding George Conian, or any link to the local area. He was however recorded in the Parish Roll of Honour throughout the War.

George Conian survived the War.
