This man has yet be positively identified potential candidates are Pte. 5853 Herbert Thomas Smith, who has proven connections to London Colney and Shenley and L/Cpl 681204, Herbert George Smith form Catford and who enlisted in St Albans. We hope that further research will positively identify the correct man.
