George Birch appears on the Wigginton Village Memorial and his Regiment is given as Canadian Infantry. No military records can be found for him. He is possible George Birch the son of William George or George William Birch (depending on the records) and Mary Louisa Birch (nee Field). Brother to John Birch and stepbrother to William Field. Both killed in Action.
