His birth was registered in Brentford, Middlesex in 1894.


By 1901 he was living at the Old Rectory Carlshalton with his Father Henry P Adams and sister Sybil.


He was at Aldenham School, aged 16, in 1911.

Wartime Service

Enlisted in HAC (Honourable Artillery Company) 6th Aug 1914 at rank of Serjeant. He went overseas with the 1st Battalion to France on 18 Sep 1914 . He was commissioned 7th Feb 1916 as Asst Adj Troops. Later transferred to 1st Bn 35th Sikh Regiment Indian Army and died in Afghanistan 17th May 1919 (Third Afghan War)
