Son of Herbert and Lucy (nee AXTELL) BURNELL of Watford.
His parents married 1892 in the Aylesbury, Bucks, district. Herbert died 1941 in Watford aged 72, and was buried 28 June in Vicarage Road Cemetery, Watford; Lucy died 1947 in Watford aged 78, and was buried 13 May, also in Vicarage Road Cemetery.
Trevor was born 1897 in Weedon, Bucks, and resided in Watford.
On the 1901 Census, aged 4 he lived in Watford, with his parents and four siblings. On the 1911 Census, a milk boy aged 14, he still lived in Watford, with his parents and seven siblings.
Wartime Service
He enlisted in Hertford 10 September 1914: a milkman aged 19, and was wounded at Givenchy.
He was entitled to the Victory, British War and 1914-15 Star medals, his qualifying date being 23 January 1915, and died at 4 Field Ambulance of wounds received in action.
