Born in 1882 and baptised on 31 Dec 1882 in Enmore Green, Dorset son of Elijah and Anna Brickell.


He married Bessie Harriett Bailey on 13 Aug 1904 in Canford Magna, Dorset and had one daughter. They were living in Park Road, Rickmansworth in 1911. Bessie died in 1911 and he then married Annie Margaret Sear on 3 Apr 1915 and they lived at 239 New Road, Croxley Green, Hertfordshire. He was a plasterer.

Wartime Service

Enlisted on 10 Dec 1915 at Watford, entered the Eastern Mediterranean on 4 Nov 1916 and was killed in action.
